The live quote game · private beta
Big quotes.
Wild suspects.
Three suspects. One real quote.
What it is
Your group chat.
A new reason to argue.
Every match puts three very different public personalities side by side — an Icon, a Cult Favorite and a Wild Card. One authentic quote drops. Everyone guesses who's really behind it. Then the receipt settles it.
New quote
“I can resist everything except temptation.”
How it plays
Three moves. Zero setup.
- 01
Build your trio
Pick a lineup: one Icon, one Cult Favorite, one Wild Card. Three worlds that should never share a thread.
- 02
Bring your people
Open a private room and send the invite link or six-letter code. Two to six players.
- 03
Lock your guess
Same quote, same moment, fifteen seconds. Lock it in, then everyone sees the reveal together.
A look inside / proposed game screens
Inside the game.
These are the approved designs for the full release. Guess Sleuth is in private beta, so the rooms you can play today are a work in progress toward these screens.
Chapter 01
Choose your chaos.
Scroll quote cards, then build a trio from three different corners of culture. The weirder the mix, the better the argument.
Chapter 02
Same quote. Very different guesses.
The lobby fills up, everyone readies, and the quote lands on every phone at once. Trash talk in the thread; lock in before the clock hits zero.
Chapter 03
The reveal is the best part.
Who really said it, where it came from, and who called it. Then the final scores and a rematch — bragging rights included.
Try a sample
One quote. Three suspects. Your call.
A single sample to get the feel. It's just you and this card — no room, no score, no other players.

The receipts
Bring receipts.
- The original source.
Every quote is tied to where it first appeared — a book, a script, an interview, a recording. - The exact wording.
No paraphrases, no internet misquotes. If the words don't match the source, it doesn't ship. - Who wrote it vs. who said it.
A playwright can write a line a character speaks. The receipt names both. - A person signs off.
Each quote is checked by a human before it can appear in a game.
